Embassy Suites Offers Third Design Option to Developers
To meet the ambitious goal of having 300 hotels open by 2010, Embassy Suites HotelsW unveiled its latest prototype, Design Option III. A true-to-form upper upscale product, the new prototype encompasses the core standards of the Embassy Suites Hotels brand while providing a cost-effective design that delivers. With a scalable key count of 150 to 300 suites, a flexible layout and a lower building cost, the new prototype gives developers more market choices, from urban and coastal markets, to more corporate and convention center markets.
“The creation of Design Option III was a way for us to offer another option for hotel developers - lowering the cost to build while providing guests with an exciting new design layout while still maintaining the innovations that business and leisure travelers have come to expect from the Embassy Suites Hotels brand,” said Bill Fortier, senior vice president of franchise development for Hilton Hotels Corporation.
With an atrium environment at the entrance boasting natural greenery and flowing water, and guest suite towers flanking the building, the new option can be built on a 2.86-acre site that is scalable to the needs of individual developers and the market. Design Option III is approximately $10K per key less than Design Option II. Guests receive a fresh, spacious and more efficient all-suite experience, while still enjoying the pillars of the Embassy Suites Hotels brand: complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, evening manager's reception (subject to state and local laws; must be of legal drinking age), true two-room suites and an atrium.
