HYATT BEEFS UP BREAKFAST
Citing a goal to become an industry leader at breakfast, Hyatt Hotels recently introduced a new menu for the morning meal that combines consistency across the chain with regional specialties.
Heart of the program will be 15 signature breakfast dishes that will be available at all 110 Hyatt properties in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. Sample menu items include sticky bun French toast, poached eggs in a pot and breakfast in a basket. Each hotel will supplement the standard offerings with four additional selections that reflect local and regional tastes and traditions.
The breakfast makeover extends to beverages. After ordering, servers will present every Hyatt breakfast customer with a 2.5-ounce chilled glass filled with a banana-berry or wild berry fruit smoothie. And coffee service will feature a French press offering of Starbucks in a personal pot.
“This is an exciting first step for Hyatt's food and beverage reinvigoration campaign,” says Paul Daly, executive director of food and beverage for Hyatt Hotels. “We want our guests to wake up and expect they they're going to eat the best breakfast in town. Whether at a resort, in the city or the suburbs, Hyatt guests will awake to the freshest of fare that will help them get a great start.”
The same breakfast menu items in Hyatt's restaurants will also be available through the properties' room service breakfast menus.
