EPA HONORS HI MARRIOTT

For the second year in a row, the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa won the Energy Star seal of approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Marriott International, which took over management of the 1,310-room property in 2000, was also named Energy Star 2006 partner of the year, making it the only lodging company to receive the highest honor from the EPA.
