Wyndham Consolidates Branding
All of Wyndham Worldwide's timeshare brands and 140 resorts will soon be rebranded with the parent company's name. The process begins immediately with the transition of Fairfield Resorts to Wyndham Vacation Resorts. Later this year, Trendwest South Pacific will become Wyndham Vacation Resorts-Asia Pacific, and in early 2007 WorldMark by Trendwest will morph into WorldMark by Wyndham. In addition, over the next 12 months all of the company's timeshare sales, marketing and service centers will fly the Wyndham flag.
The brand consolidation is part of Wyndham Worldwide's aggressive strategy to simultaneously heighten the brand's image and broaden its presence both in North America and around the world.
“Adopting the Wyndham brand within our timeshare business is a significant leap forward in our global brand strategy and sets the stage for further development of mixed-use hotel and timeshare properties throughout our system,” says Stephen Holmes, Wyndham Worldwide chairman, president and CEO.
Operating under one brand also enables Wyndham to launch more cost-effective and comprehensive marketing programs to assist all timeshare and hotel brands in all markets.
