Thousands of hospitality designers, vendors and hotel operators will converge on Las Vegas May 10-12 to check out the latest and greatest design trends in the industry. With an expanded show floor and exceptional lineup of educational sessions, Hospitality Design 2007 expo & conference will celebrate its 16th annual gathering.

Highlights of this year's show include:

• 2nd Annual Green Luncheon, featuring industry green practitioners and the presentation of several sustainable design case studies including the Hyatt Regency Chicago and the MGM Mirage City Center, Las Vegas. Other HD green initiatives include producing the first online-only exhibitor kit (reducing unnecessary binder and paper waste); recycling of vinyl badge holders; and offering exhibitors the opportunity to purchase alternative energy sources.

• HD Connect, HD 2007's online search engine and matchmaking tool. In addition to connecting attendees and exhibitors, it also works as a personal GPS system when the proprietary “walking map” is used, assisting navigation of the show floor with ease.

• Top industry chefs will be on hand to help explore how design influences restaurant development, themes and menu aesthetic at two educational conference sessions. Participating celebrity chefs include Joseph Elevado, Will Goldfarb, Barbara Lynch, Pichet Ong and Charlie Phan.
