Dolce Hotels President & CEO Steve Rudnitksy has hired several of his former Wyndham colleagues to help him build the New Jersey-based hotel and conference center company. Peter Strebel, who until earlier this year was president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, joined Dolce as chief revenue officer. His job is to oversee sales and marketing and North American development.

Sarah Woodfin Wynn, another Wyndham alumnus, was named Dolce’s general counsel, while former Omni Hotels executive Richard Maxfield was appointed chief operating officer.

As LHOnline reported yesterday, since joining Dolce last year, Rudnitsky has been building an executive team and developing a strategy to grow the company beyond its current roster of 24 certified conference centers and other upscale hotels and resorts.

Dolce recently assumed management of a former Marriott golf and meeting resort, the Seaview, near Atlantic City, NJ. It’s also looking to expand in Europe and North America.
