A little bit of heaven is headed to the friendly skies. Westin Hotels & Resorts is teaming up with United Airlines to give the carrier's customers some of the comforts of Westin's Heavenly Bed products.

Initially, the partnership has two phases. First, United's first- and business-class p.s. air service between New York and California will feature signature oversized Heavenly blankets and pillows. In addition, United Red Carpet Clubs at JFK airport in New York and airports in Los Angeles and San Francisco will feature custom-designed Westin Renewal Lounges. The lounges will be private areas within the clubs that are designed with Westin design touches and spa-like amenities. The idea is to provide the airline's best customers with a quiet oasis where they can escape the hustle and bustle of airports.
