Led by a highly experienced team of industry experts, the Schaumburg, IL-based hospitality management company is charging through 2007 with seven acquisitions to its existing portfolio of 24 properties. It also plans to expand its high performing Amalfi concept (the first location is in downtown Chicago) and continue to participate in deal sourcing through its hotel fund.

In 2005 Hostmark co-sponsored an acquisition fund along with Shamrock Holdings of California, which is the investment company for the Roy Disney family. “We are just now closing our fifth hotel purchase with the fund,” reports Cataldo. “As a co-sponsor of the fund, we now have the ability to bring operational expertise to properties added to the fund portfolio.”
