Marriott’s Ed Fuller to Retire

40-Year Company Veteran Leads International Operations
Marriott International Inc. announced Tuesday that its president and managing director of international lodging will retire March 31. Ed Fuller, 66, joined the company in 1972 and worked in a variety of positions over the years. Marriott said Fuller was critical in the company's dramatic growth outside of North America. Fuller became senior vice president and managing director of international lodging in 1991 when the company had 16 hotels in 12 countries. He became president of the business in 1997.
