Hawaii's Fairmont Orchid Sold to Mainland Investors
The Fairmont Orchid hotel on the Big Island has been sold to Mainland investors that include the former owner of the Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu. Oaktree Capital Management LP and an affiliate of Woodridge Capital Partners LLC partnered to purchased the 538-room luxury oceanfront hotel on 32.6 acres along the Kohala Coast for an undisclosed price, according to a statement from the buyers.
