Hilton Moves Into New Home
Hilton Hotels opened its new global headquarters today at Park Place II in the Tysons Corner area of McLean, VA. The company first announced its plans to relocate from Beverly Hills, CA to the D.C. region in January and confirmed the new home in Fairfax County a month later.
The move will help reduce operating expenses and positions Hilton into a more central location. The D.C. area is also home to lodging heavyweights Marriott and Choice. More than 300 employees will work in the new office.
Hilton occupies approximately one-third of an 11-story, 323,000-square-foot building that is LEED Gold certified. Hilton’s corporate-owned and managed Hilton McLean Tysons Corner property is next door to the new office.
“The opening of our new global headquarters marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in our company’s rich history,” said Hilton President and CEO Christopher J. Nassetta in a statement. “We are delighted to join the vibrant Fairfax County business community and are confident that our new location will enhance our ability to operate seamlessly as a global company.”
