Nova Scotia Hotel to be Razed, Rise Again
The venerable Citadel Halifax Hotel at 1960 Brunswick Street in Nova Scotia will soon be history. "We’ll close this hotel on Jan. 17," Steve Giblin, president and CEO of owner SilverBirch Hotels and Resorts, said Thursday during a news conference at the hotel. "It will go down to demolition." After the demolition is completed, the company will build a new hotel. "We have a 15- to 16-month timeline," Giblin said. Click here for the full story.
