FelCor Narrows Loss in First Quarter

Rate Hike Fuels RevPAR Gains
An 8.4 percent jump in revenue helped FelCor Lodging Trust Inc. narrow its first-quarter loss to $41.3 million, or 43 cents a share, down from a $72.1 million loss, or $1.14 a share a year ago. The Irving-based hotel real estate investment trust said Monday that adjusted funds from operations, or FFO, for the quarter ended March 31 showed a loss of $2.3 million, or 2 cents a share, compared to last year's FFO loss of $10.6 million, or 17 cents a share. The company, which owns 82 hotels across the U.S., reported revenue of $235.3 million, up from $217.1 million a year ago. Click here for the full story.
