Readers of Lodging Hospitality now have another way to keep abreast of some of the fast-changing developments in the hotel industry. It's LHTV, a new online video offering launched last month with a number of interviews with development executives from major hotel companies. The short, 10-minute-or-less video segments feature Lodging Hospitality Editor Ed Watkins discussing with brand leaders their development opportunities and challenges. Further enhancements to the offering may include on-location broadcasts at major industry events and a daily news show.

The first set of interviews were filmed at The Lodging Conference in Phoenix in September and include segments with Bill Fortier of Hilton Hotels, Jim Abrahamson of Global Hyatt and John Russell of NYLO Hotels, as well as a bonus interview with Morris Lasky and Harry Javer, impresarios of The Lodging Conference. In October, a set of interviews was filmed with InterContinental Hotels Group executives during the chain's annual conference.
