By reflecting the comfort, options, technology and taste that discerning people have surrounded themselves with at home, Hyatt Place lets anyone travel without skipping a beat. “Before we began development on Hyatt Place, we took a look at the way people are living their lives today and found that while lifestyles were changing, the select service hotel experience had become stagnant,” said James Abrahamson, senior vice president of acquisitions and development for Hyatt Corporation. “Through innovation in design, services and experiences Hyatt Place guests will find that they can seamlessly continue to lead their everyday lives in an environment that lets them be more productive, relaxed and fulfilled.”
As guests arrive at a Hyatt Place they'll be greeted by fresh, inviting and stylish spaces. Guests can quickly check in to their room using the check-in kiosk near the main entrance. The standard lobby has been replaced by a free-flowing Gallery, featuring contemporary design and a comfortable coffeehouse vibe. Just like at home, they can choose from a variety of spaces where they can relax, watch a flat-screen TV, work or socialize. Guests can pick a couch in an open area, an overstuffed chair in a nook, or just grab a stool at the granite-topped specialty coffee and wine bar. And, of course, they can stay in touch via free Wi-Fi from anywhere in the hotel. It's a perfect atmosphere for guests who don't want to spend their entire trip in the room. But if they do, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
