FAIRFIELD RESORTS SAYS, HI NEIGHBOR
A good neighbor is a blessing, and Fairfield Resorts couldn't have a better one for its newest property in Florida. The recently opened Fairfield Orlando at Bonnet Creek Resort is adjacent to Walt Disney World and is the only non-Disney resort inside the theme park's gates.
When complete in 2009 (or even earlier), the Bonnet Creek Resort will have eight towers, 1,100 timeshare units and 50,000 owners. In November, two buildings with 121 units, the sales center and Village Center building opened.
“Even this early in its life, Bonnet Creek has been the most successful project we've had,” says Franz Hanning, Fairfield's president and CEO, citing the 4,000 timeshare intervals that were sold before the complex opened. “The sales pace has been phenomenal, and I would stack the quality of the product against any in the business.”
Like all Fairfields developed in the past six or seven years, the Bonnet Creek project has five-star-quality accommodations and recreation facilities. It has a range of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, as well as a select number of four-bedroom penthouse-style presidential suites. All units have the highest-quality furnishings and include a private balcony, whirlpool tub, in-room laundry and the usual array of personal electronics.
Hanning believes the high quality of the project, Fairfield's base of 500,000 existing owners and the credibility of parent company Cendant will all contribute to Bonnet Creek's long-term success. “And, of course, the Orlando timeshare market is very deep, and we have the best location in the market,” says Hanning.
