GoConcierge Helping CA Hyatt
The concierge operations solution GoConcierge is increasing guest satisfaction at the 517-room Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa near Los Angeles, reports Jan Charrier, concierge supervisor.
The property has used GoConcierge since it opened two years ago. Concierges particularly enjoy the software's Guest Task Calendar, using the color-coded system to track guest reservations and other tasks. According to Charrier, the color coding is key.
“The next shift coming in automatically knows what is going on,” he says. “It ensures that whatever the guest wanted done is getting done. I don't recall ever getting a complaint that something was not done.”
GoConcierge also is used at Camp Hyatt, the children's program. GoConcierge eliminates log books and other paper-based processes that would slow down a property that often runs at 100-percent occupancy, Charrier says.
