Hilton Hotels named Gary Seibert area vice president and managing director for Hawaii. He succeeds Peter Schall, who is retiring in July. Seibert had been area vice president in the Midwest and GM of the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.

New general manager of The Chattanoogan in Chattanooga, TN is Scott Spann. Most recently, he was a partner with Metropolitan Services Group, a Scottsdale, AZ-based healthcare services firm that provides hospitality services to healthcare facilities.

Former AH&LA Chairman Kirby Payne is the new chairperson of the Fund Development Committee of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation. Payne is president of HVS/American Hospitality Management Co.

Appointments at Best Western include Tom Johnson to chief financial officer, Kris Schloemer to vice president and general counsel and David Scholefield to vice president of North American sales.

Former Boca Resorts President & COO David Feder was named president of PGA National Resort & Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

New president of Caribbean resort operator Island Outpost is Jason Henzell. He had been owner of Jake's in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. New GM at Jake's is Yvonne Clarke.

Pedro Mandoki was recently honored as Resort Executive of the Year by sponsors Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell and the University of Denver. The award was presented at the recent Resort Management Conference in Phoenix. Mandoki is president and CEO of Plantation Resort Management in Gulf Shores, AL.

New chief financial officer of Pyramid Advisors is Daniel Wright. He joins the hotel development, management and ownership firm from Prism Venture Partners, where he was CFO.

Gaylord Hotels promoted Javier Callejas to general manager of the Radisson Hotel at Opryland in Nashville. He had been director of special promotions and projects at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL.

Thom Geshay joined Tarsadia Hotels as senior vice president of real estate. Most recently, he was vice president of business development for Davidson Hotels.

Christine Natsios is the new director of alumni affairs for the Cornell Hotel School. The 1985 Cornell grad returns to the school from the Columbus (OH) Museum of Art, where she was manager of special events.

New general manager of The Council House and Wingspread in Racine, WI is Matthew Hoffman. The properties are owned b SC Johnson and the Johnson Foundation. He had been director of operations at the hotels.

Appointments at CSM Lodging include Robb Hall to managing director of the Depot, a recreation complex in Minneapolis that include a Courtyard and Residence Inn; and Michael Roddy to GM of the Holiday Inn in St. Louis Park, MN.

Former InterContinental Hotels executive Jeff Senior joined Fairmont Hotels & Resorts as senior vice president, marketing & sales. He had been VP, brand management at InterContinental.
