Marshall Management added Benjamin N. Seidel and Patrick Welton to its senior management team. Seidel is executive vice president, Welton director of revenue.
Bill Linehan joined InterContinental Hotels Group as vice president, marketing & new business development. Most recently, he held a similar post with Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Victor Barothy-Langer was named general manager of The US Grant-A Luxury Collection Hotel. The Starwood property in downtown San Diego is scheduled to reopen Nov. 1 following a $52-million renovation.
Appointments at Accor North America include Jessie Burgess to director of information technology in the firm's telecommunications department and T. Michael Chandler to senior director of human resources in the Business Leisure division.
Radisson Hotels and Resorts promoted Denise Estefan to president of its Latin American operations. She had been a vice president of the division.
Tim Miller returns as chief branding officer and Jennifer Nellany was named general counsel at Morgans Hotel Group, a boutique hotel operator. Miller was vice president of brand management and openings for Morgans until 2004, when he became founder and president of Alden Hotels.
Hostmark Hospitality Group promoted Brian Tkac to vice president, revenue. During his 12-year career with the company, Tkac has been corporate director of marketing and regional director of sales and marketing.
Wyndham Hotel Group President and CEO Steve Rudnitsky was named chairman of the Multicultural & Diversity Advisory Council of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
Recent promotions at the Hilton Garden Inn brand include Mark Nogal to vice president of hotel performance and sales support; Jim Cone to vice president of marketing; Alan Roberts to senior director of hotel performance support (eastern U.S./Europe) and; Chris Wilroy to senior director of hotel performance support (central and western U.S./Asia).
Choice Hotels promoted Ralph Singer to regional vice president, sales for the Cambria Suites brand. He joined the Cambria sales team in early 2005.
Remington Hotels founder Archie Bennett, Jr. received the Above & Beyond Award during The Lodging Conference last month in Phoenix. Bennett received the award for his “40 years of innovation in the industry and philanthropic efforts.”
New president of Kor Hotel Group is Nicholas Clayton. He joined the 19-property company from Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where he was senior vice president of operations.
Crestline Hotels & Resorts appointed three new general managers: Marlin Keranen at the Crowne Plaza in Williamsburg, VA; Dimitri Lourbas at the Crowne Plaza in Englewood, NJ; and T. Steele Edwards at the Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort in Cumberland, MD.
