Travel industry veteran Betsy O'Rourke was appointed senior vice president, marketing and communications, Wyndham Worldwide Corp. She joins Wyndham from the Travel Industry Association of America, where she was SVP of marketing. Wyndham Hotel Group appointed Jeff Dallas as senior vice president of development. He had been SVP, business development, for Remington Hotel Corp.

David W. McGivney was named vice president of income tax for FelCor Lodging Trust, Inc. McGivney's career includes executive accounting positions with oil and pharmaceutical companies and a consultancy.

Wayne Wielgus has left Choice Hotels International, where he was executive vice president and chief marketing officer. His departure coincides with Choice's recent reorganization into a structure driving brands through four brand divisions.

Brian C. Robertson was promoted to brand manager of Key West Inns. He oversees revenue management, guest satisfaction programs and the chain's reservation system.

Michael R. McMahon was promoted to general manager of the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, FL. With Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples since April 2002, he most recently was hotel manager at the property.

Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing for Best Western, is chair-elect of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International's executive committee. She is set to succeed Jack Schmidt, regional vice president of sales and marketing for Destination Hotels & Resorts, when he steps down at the end of 2007. Others nominated for the 2007 HSMAI executive committee are David Atkins, SVP of advertising and business development, Freedom Communications, vice chair; Kim Schaller, VP/chief marketing officer, Hershey Entertainment, treasurer; and Maureen O'Hanlon, senior partner, The Prism Partnership, immediate past chair.

Kelly Sanders joined the 1,695-room Sheraton Waikiki as general manager. For the past six years, he was GM of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.

Ted J. Kleisner is the new chief executive officer of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Co., replacing Scott J. Newkam. Kleisner was president and CEO of Greenbrier Resort and Club Management.

Peter Kacheris was appointed general manager of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. The Marriott veteran most recently was GM for the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes.

Dale T. McDaniel will be managing director of Loews Lake Las Vegas. He comes to the first Nevada Loews from Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, a Loews hotel that earned numerous awards under his stewardship.

Claudia Majunke was promoted to vice president of sales at One&Only Resorts. The former executive director of sales and marketing for One&Only is responsible for sales offices and agents in the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Russia and Japan.

At The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park, Rick Evanich was named general manager and David Chase was named hotel manager. Evanich was GM of The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common. Chase was area director of catering & conference services for The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of New York.

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts named Faith Taylor as vice president of innovation and product development. She had been senior director of marketing for the Ramada brand.

Former JetBlue executive Todd Thompson joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts as chief information officer.
