The Technology Handbook Lodging Hospitality publishes each June aims to present a comprehensive listing of hospitality software applications and a comprehensive list of their manufacturers. The magazine also uses the Handbook to preview the field's largest technology show, Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference, or HITEC. The 2005 HITEC drew 625 booths for 303 companies and a total of 5,008 attendees including exhibitors to Los Angeles, according to Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals, its sponsor.
