IDeaS Going Global
Revenue optimization solutions from IDeaS have been implemented at Manhattan's Carlyle Hotel and at the Melia White House in London.
The Carlyle is using IDeaS to maximize RevPAR and profitability within New York's highly competitive market. The Carlyle is the fourth Rosewood property to install IDeaS. Marcie Leiberman, Carlyle manager, says she's impressed with IDeaS' ability to make guest profile values work in conjunction with revenue decisions.
In London, installation of the IDeaS web-based revenue management solution at one of the key hotels in the portfolio of Spanish hotel operator Melia involved development of custom interfaces to the Melia PMS and Sirius, its proprietary CRS.
According to IDeaS, completion of the pilot program means IDeaS will roll out to other properties in the Melia chain, the world's 12th-largest.
