Software Solution Suits Classic Resorts
Classic Resorts Limited, Lahaina, HI, is a resort management company specializing in vacation condominiums and homes on the islands of Maui and Hawaii, including the luxurious Ka'anapali Ali'i, Lahaina Shores Beach Resort and Pu'unoa Beach Estates properties.
Chief Financial Officer Kay Carpenter spent more than a year researching property management systems before settling on IQWARE, a powerful suite of fully featured hospitality solutions that integrate a wide range of comprehensive applications.
The company designs applications that focus on the bottom-line with a singular focus on the hospitality market. Its suite of products includes property management, central reservations, multi-property management, online reservations, point-of-sale, sales and catering, golf course-, spa- and marina-management and back office.
IQWARE can run in a LAN, WAN or ASP-like configuration. In Classic's case, running on a central server using Citrix, this ASP-like model provides far more flexibility and performance than a typical browser-based model. It allows Classic to consolidate all IT support in one location, gain in productivity and efficiency while realizing substantial savings by cutting down travel time between the islands.
“IQWARE's software is so extensive and sophisticated, and yet extremely user-friendly,” says Carpenter. “And while there's a lot of product out there for hotels, I'm focused on condos. We have to produce owner statements for individual condos, and this software has features that outweigh the other vendors.”
Importantly, IQWARE customer service and technical support continually exceeds user expectations, attests Carpenter, while facilitating application deployment and the acceleration of both funding and development for upgrades, new modules, integrations and the Internet. “Their support is excellent,” enthuses Carpenter. “In the two and a half years we've had this software we've never been down. It makes our lives so much easier.” Circle 75
