Developer Richard Kessler has come home. The president and CEO of Orlando-based Kessler Enterprise and The Kessler Collection recently opened his newest hotel, The Mansion on Forsyth Park, in his home town of Savannah, GA.

The 126-room property, which Kessler believes will be rated with five diamonds, was built onto an existing 1888 mansion overlooking a city park. Hallmark of the hotel's design is more than 400 pieces of European and American artwork placed throughout the property.

Kessler also recently announced development of the Grand Bohemian Hotel and Residences in St. Petersburg, FL. The project features 205 hotel rooms and 62 residential units.
