LQ Management, LLC, long known for its excellence in operating mid-priced hotels, has successfully translated this excellence to its franchising businesses. Since the franchising program was established in 2001, more than 200 franchised properties have opened their doors, each reflecting the high standards associated with the La Quinta brand. The brand is now nearly 600 properties strong and rapidly growing through aggressive franchising and corporate acquisition.

Just since January 2007, La Quinta has opened 17 new properties and executed 32 Franchise Agreements, a record number of executions for the first quarter of the year. Internationally, the brand is growing, too. The first Canadian property opened in 2004 and the first property in Mexico is scheduled to open in 2007.

Honoring its promise to continue to grow the brand, La Quinta stresses the importance of providing exemplary support to its growing franchise community. No other brand works as closely or consistently with franchisees to make sure they leverage the power and potential of a national and international system. In 2006, La Quinta's franchised hotels enjoyed an eight-percent average increase in RevPAR, all while maintaining a better than 81-percent satisfied intent to return among guests.
