MILLENNIUM'S ARTFUL MARKETING
Millennium on View is a new program targeting the “cultural traveler” who values the visual arts. It links Millennium Hotels and Resorts to many of North America's leading museums by offering Millennium customers special, arts-related packages.

Launched in 2004 in conjunction with the widely publicized reopening of the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan, the Millennium on View program now includes such museums as the Museums of Contemporary Art in Chicago and Los Angeles; the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; and the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati. All are near Millennium properties.
Millennium introduced the program at a gala event in early March at the historic Henry Hudson Theatre in the Millennium Broadway. Attendees at the kick-off event included an array of art collectors, arts professionals, opinion makers and representatives from a variety of arts organizations.
Through these partnerships, the cultural traveler may choose from several Millennium on View packages. These may include tickets and passes to exhibition previews, VIP entrance to special exhibitions, exclusive receptions and private tours. Millennium on View guests may also select from commercial and social events on the art calendar that are customarily reserved for collectors and other insiders.
In addition to customers in love with the visual arts, Millennium on View targets those in the industry: artists, art patrons, dealers and collectors. Special, more rarefied packages will be available to this market, and Millennium intends to announce other museum partners this year.
