The Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa has found a new consumer niche: pregnant women. The Mill Valley, CA resort property overlooking San Francisco Bay teamed up with the Barefoot & Pregnant website to create what management calls the industry's first destination maternity spa.

The 63-room property offers a number of weekend packages that combine room, breakfasts, dinners, transportation and, most importantly, spa services for both expectant Moms and Dads.

Spa services include prenatal massages and facials, belly facials, bellycasts (whatever they are) and massages for the fathers. Spa therapists are trained by Barefoot & Pregnant to understand and empathize with the feelings and needs of pregnant women.
