Park Inn has added a complimentary breakfast service at its U.S. properties. The “Lite, on-the-go breakfast” program comes in a Park Inn-branded bag that contains fresh fruit, granola bar and what the chain calls “an item of local flavor,” such as branded coffee. Hotels in the system provide the breakfast daily and may also offer full-service restaurants or expanded continental breakfast service.

The program is part of Carlson Hotels' efforts to reposition the economy brand with new designs and amenities. A new-build property in Brunswick, GA reflects the chain's contemporary new look and ff&e package. Among the amenities are a signature bed with pillow top inlay, upgraded bath linen, shower curtain without hooks, curved shower rod and improved showerhead.
