Power Efficiency Corp. has sold energy-saving products to Grupo Posadas for use in the elevators and escalators of several of their properties. Grupo Posadas is parent of Fiesta Americana Hotels.

Las Vegas-based Power Efficiency develops advanced energy-saving technologies for alternating current induction motors. Power Efficiency's Performance Controller gives the motor power in proportion to the required workload, eliminating wasted energy, the company says.

Power Efficiency calls the Mexican market a natural because electricity rates there, in Asia and Europe are much higher than in the U.S.

Grupo Posadas operates more than 90 hotels in Mexico, South America and the U.S.
