One of the key ways to increase occupancy and revenue at hotels and motels is to upgrade the towels, linens and bedding. With this change occurring on a rapid and ongoing basis, A-1 Textiles is helping properties to hold down some of the cost associated with ‘upscaling’ linen by being a distributor of the Golden Mill line of products.

A-1 Textiles, which is celebrating its 29th year in the hospitality linen business, now has six ship points and three sales offices to handle the needs of its customers. The Golden Mill line of products, which is designed with both budget and quality in mind, has many new products added. The upscale line now contains both T200 sheets in white and beige, and T250 sheets in white and beige stripe. Coming later this summer will be T200 stripe sheets in both white and beige.

The towels offered under this brand also have been expanded, according to Moran. The upscale Golden Touch towels now include two new towel lines, Golden Elegance and Golden Diamond, which will appeal to four- and five-star properties that are looking to bring the next level of luxury to their rooms.
