You could call it mobile vacation ownership. It's the latest wrinkle in the timeshare industry: the Fleetwood Vacation Club, a points-based timeshare product that gives members access to luxury motor coaches. The club recently affiliated with RCI, opening the concept to other, more traditional timeshare owners. Fleetwood members will also be able to use their points on RCI's wide range of vacation and travel products.

Members join the club for a 10-year membership, which enables them to annually reserve either a Fleetwood Discovery coach, a fully appointed Class A diesel motor home; or the Tioga, a Class C gas-powered motor home. Depending on their point levels, members can reserve the coaches for one or more weeks each year.

RCI awarded Fleetwood its Gold Crown status, its highest level. The affiliation agreement runs for five years.
