Donahue has 30 years experience at some of the nation's top resorts, including the La Costa Resort, the Arizona Biltmore and the Grand Wailea Resort.

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels named Fernando Garcia-Chacon senior vice president for the firm's advisory services team. Garcia-Chacon has more than 12 years of experience within the professional services, hospitality, consulting and real estate industries. Jeffrey Davis, part of the New York investment sales team, was promoted to executive vice president. Amelia Lim, also in New York, and Anwar Elgonemy, based in San Francisco, were promoted to senior vice presidents. Jason Jones, based in Los Angeles, and Mark Lukens, based in Seattle, were appointed senior vice presidents in the select service division.

Avendra signed agreements to provide its procurement services to Amway Hotel Corp.'s three Grand Rapids, MI properties and to Windsor Hospitality Group, a firm that manages 30 hotels across North America. Avendra also appointed Tim Clarke as vice president, strategic markets.

Paramount Lodging Advisors, a hotel real estate advisory firm, opened an office in Phoenix. The company, headquartered in Chicago, also has offices in San Francisco; New York; Charleston, SC; Richmond, VA; London; and Vancouver.

Allied Capital committed $51 million to support the buyout of Gilchrist & Soames by private equity group Swander Pace Capital. Gilchrist & Soames supplies branded luxury personal care products and amenities to the hotel industry.

NxTV named Hooman Honary chief technical officer and Eric Litwin senior vice president of applications development. Honary comes from Oxford Media, where he was also CTO. Litwin was senior vice president, information technology for Countrywide Capital Markets.
