Digital technology company Oxford Media signed agreements with the Microtel Inn & Suites in Tampa and the Safar Inn in Clearwater, FL to provide the properties with digital video-on-demand and pay-per-view entertainment systems. Y-Max Media, an Oxford dealer, arranged the agreements.

Jani-King International expanded its hospitality division with the addition of new new advisors: Traci Parker and Valaida Winn. Before joining the company, Parker was a sales rep in the beverage industry, while Winn had been executive housekeeper of the Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas.

Hatchett Hospitality recently purchased a 19,000-square-foot building in Griffin, GA to serve as its design center and showroom. The firm provides design, purchasing, installation and transportation services to the hotel business.

The Jerde Partnership, a Los Angeles-based architecture and urban planning firm, hired James Jackson as hospitality design director. Most recently, Jackson was vice president of design and construction for The Kor Group.

The Kauai Beach Hotel and Resort in Hawaii will install the Signature electronic locking system from VingCard in its 350 guestrooms. The installation is part of the property's ongoing $13-million renovation project.

New vice president of R&D and technical operations for travel content management and e-marketing firm Leonardo is Eliezer Dikstein. Most recently, he held a similar position with Exanet, an Israeli software company.

Milenium Grupo Hotelero Mexicano selected Safemark Systems as its preferred vendor for in-room safes. With 14 properties, the firm is the largest InterContinental Hotel Group franchisee in Mexico.
