Envoy Publishing, marketers of the Pocket Concierge key packet, added two senior account executives in its eastern regional sales division: Megan Bates and Tricia Soria.

Amy Forseth joined Fiber-Built Umbrellas, Inc. as national sales manager. She recently held similar positions with Brown Jordan International and Pompeii Furniture.

CB Richard Ellis Group named hotel real estate veteran Daniel Lesser as senior managing director-industry leader and co-manager of the Hospitality & Gaming Group of Valuation & Advisory Services. He leads the new practice with Scott Biethan. Most recently, Lesser led the lodging valuation practice at Cushman & Wakefield.

The Sheraton Amsterdam recently signed a contract with procurement specialist Adaco Services. Adaco says it has helped its hotel clients control more than $2 billion in annual spending.

The Home Depot will purchase Hughes Supply, Inc. for $3.47 billion. At completion of the acquisition, Hughes will become part of The Home Depot Supply.

PKF Consulting launched a Golf & Resort Group to provide consulting and planning services to those segments of the hospitality industry. Tim Wyman is the director of the new division.

Hawaii's Big Island Visitors Bureau named the public relations team of Novom Marketing and the advertising agency Bates/Lee Advertising to represent the island in 2006.

Audit Logistics signed an agreement to provide freight management services for the renovation of the 122-room Courtyard by Marriott-Maryville in St. Louis. Maryville Hotel Associates owns the property.

John Camp was promoted to national sales manager and member of the executive committee of W.A.C. Lighting. He had been a product manager for the firm.

American Property Management hired Benjamin West to provide ff&e purchasing services for the renovation of the Double-tree Hotel in Albuquerque, NM. Renovation of the 295-room property will be complete in May.

Sperry Van Ness named Anita Kaufman as director of organization development for the brokerage firm's central region. She had been vice president of sales for the Midwest region of HQ Global Workplaces.

New hires at Blu Spa, Inc. include Ann Emich-Patton as senior consultant and Karen Steidl as consultant. The Montana-based firm provides spa design, consulting and management services.

Lake Country Marketing signed a deal to represent Tornado Industries in North and South Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska. Ron Hohrman is president of Lake Country.

The Hotel Networks named Cannella Response Television as its exclusive infomercial media representative for its free-to-guest hotel TV service.
