Onity, a provider of electronic control and security solutions, announced four new appointments to its North American sales team. In the Northeast, Ed Philipp was appointed regional sales rep. Charles Durling will represent the company in the Midwest. In the southern California market, Onity's sales territory will be shared by regional sales reps Dennis Davies and Julie Huelle.
Bracken White joined The Capital Markets Group of Molinaro Koger as managing director, Capital Markets. He previously served as principal at Presidio Merchant Partners where he covered the hotel industry.
Adaco Services, LLC opened an office in India to expand the reach of its hospitality procurement software to hotels in India, China and Japan. Also, Adaco and Class One, based in Spain, have partnered to service hotels in Spain and the U.S.
Jason Lowe joined Kinetics, a subsidiary of NCR, as account executive in the hospitality division. Most recently, he was director of business development for The Carroll Adams Group.
Eastern Bag & Paper recognized Rubbermaid Commercial Products' Sales Manager Michael Weisenberg, as its 2006 Manufacturer Sales Representative of the Year. In addition, the firm honored Rubbermaid as the 2006 Manufacturer of the Year.
PhoneSuite named Dick Wheeler as dealer sales director. He formerly spent more than 10 years with Teledex and TeleMatrix supporting national hotel franchises and dealers.
Jim Suggs, AIA, joined RTKL as a principal in the design firm's hospitality group. Suggs previously led the hospitality design group at 3D/International.
GE Real Estate appointed Greg O'Stean to executive vice president and managing director, hospitality, North America Lending. Previously, he was senior vice president of Franchise Finance at GE Capital Solutions.
Avendra won a Stevie Award for Women in Business. Avendra's CIO, Jane Marie Dunigan, was honored as Best Executive for Service Businesses.
W2 Architectural Lighting appointed Anna Schast eastern territory manager. She had been a sales rep for Modular International, Inc.
Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels promoted Arthur Buser and John Strauss and added Romy Bhojwani to the Los Angeles office. Buser was promoted to president, Lodging Capital Markets-Americas. Strauss was promoted to executive vice president and will oversee the LA office. Bhojwani was named senior vice president for the firm's investment sales team.
American Hotel Register Company appointed Greg Kadens vice president and chief operating officer of its FF&E division, American Hotel Furnishings Company. He previously spent 15 years with Quill Corporation in various executive roles.
