Wyndham Vacation Ownership last month acquired Hawaii-based Pahio Resorts and Pahio Vacation Ownership. Through the deal, Wyndham assumed property management and sales and marketing operations for Pahio's five timeshare properties on Kauai: Bali Hai Villas, Ka Eo Kai, Kauai Beach Villas, Shearwater and Makai.

Wyndham also struck a deal with developer and Pahio Chairman and CEO David Walters to expand the Bali Hai Villas Resort with 125 additional vacation ownership units and a new clubhouse.

Pahio's five resorts include 400 timeshare units with more than 20,000 owners. With the acquisition, Wyndham now has 12 timeshare properties in Hawaii.
