100% soluble and biodegradable bags from CKI Solutions can be used to remove infested or infected linens. The bags can be placed in laundry machines and will dissolve at temperatures above 140 degrees, which is hot enough to kill bed bugs and most infectious pathogens, leaving no residue.

VU, a new in-room entertainment system from KoolConnect, includes video on demand, multi-media interactive pages and an electronic programming guide. The system also includes smart TV apps such as Netflix, which operate through WiFi. The company says the system costs 70% less than its previous offerings and most other IPTV systems.

FormMobi from a la mode, inc. is a cloud-based workflow solutions applications that replaces paper-based field data-gathering techniques and transfer them to iOS and Android devices. In addition to text input, users can also record audio, select data from QuickLists, scan barcodes, make calculations, take photos, get GPS coordinates, collect signatures and more.

Products from Versa Wallcovering have been certified to the NSF/ANSI 342 Sustainability Standard, a measure that evaluates wallcovering over its life cycle, from raw material extraction through end-of-life. Nexstep Commercial Products introduced the Lobby 100% black angle corn broom. The broom’s angle cut provides easy sweeping of debris, says the manufacturer, while the black natural broom corn has hair-like follicles that trap and hold dust particles and is water resistant.

Bedlam Plus, a new bed bug pesticide developed by MGK has been accepted by the Environmental Protection Agency.
