Carlson Reshuffles Executive Deck
Carlson Hotels Worldwide restructured its executive leadership to focus on its two largest brands, Radisson Hotels & Resorts and Country Inns & Suites.
Fredrik Korallus, formerly executive vice president of revenue generation, was named EVP and chief operating officer of Radisson Hotels & Resorts Operating Company, a new organizational entity. Wendy Nelson, Marilyn Carlson Nelson's daughter, became the EVP of brand strategy for Radisson.
Steve Mogck, formerly EVP of franchise operations for select-service hotels, leads another new entity, Country Inns & Suites by Carlson Operating Company, as the EVP and COO.
Nancy Johnson, formerly EVP of franchise operations for full-service hotels and franchise development, became the EVP of business development for all Carlson hotel brands in the Americas. Bob Kleinschmidt, CFO, added additional responsibilities as chief administrative officer, while Paula Winkler, chief information officer, added operational support services duties.

"In the Americas, an important focus of the plan is on our two largest brands, Radisson Hotels & Resorts and Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, and this new structure is designed to provide organizational alignment that supports them."
Also, and unrelated to the other moves, Martin Rinck left
his post as president and managing director of Carlson Hotels Worldwide Asia
Pacific to become president of Hilton Hotels - Asia Pacific. Rinck will be
based at Hilton's Singapore office and start on Nov. 17.
