Bankrupt LaGuardia Airport Hotel Seeks Savior
The legal drama at the bankrupt LaGuardia Plaza Hotel in Queens continues, as the owner tries to ink a deal with a national hotel chain and investors even as nearly 2-year-old foreclosure proceedings continue.
The hotel has lost business over the past year because it is not affiliated with a known brand and national reservation system, said an executive with the property. Previously it was part of the Crown Plaza franchise.
“We are in active discussions with several parties,” to have a new hotel affiliation and new funds, said Jeff Day, general manager of the property. Click here for the full story.
