It's Official: Disney, Hotel Union Labor Feud is Over
The Disney hotel union has approved an employment agreement, finalizing a contentious debate that left 2,100 workers without a contract for almost four years, the parties announced December 8.
Union members cast ballots December 7 on the new agreement in a conference room at the Disneyland Hotel. Disney and the union, Unite Here Local 11, announced December 8 that “an overwhelming majority” of union members voted in favor of the new contract. The vote breakdown has yet to be released.
