Pinehurst Resort Sues Travel Agency

The owners of Pinehurst Resort have filed a lawsuit for trademark infringement against a Virginia company that advertises golf trips to "Pinehurst, N.C.'' US Golf Trips advertises packages that will take golfers to any of 21 courses across the Sandhills, from Spring Lake and Sanford to Southern Pines and West End, but not to Pinehurst Resort.
