Super Bowl 2012 Was Major Windfall for Area Hotels
Indianapolis-area hotels cashed in big on the Super Bowl, collecting $27 million in room revenue during Super Bowl weekend alone.
The sum is equivalent to nearly three weeks' worth of normal business for the metro area's 277 hotels.
The Super Bowl bookings "definitely met our expectations," Leonard Hoops, chief executive of the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association, said February 16. Click here for the full story.
