In association with Best Buy for Business, RCA Commercial TV offers a turnkey HDTV upgrade program for hotels. RCA says its sets are among the most efficient offered to the hotel industry, with each HDTV unit consuming about one-third the power of comparably sized models currently in hotel rooms.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE
The EzSign TV from LG and offered by Kingston Distribution is a cost-effective and easy-to-use digital signage solution. Free software allows users to create content on a PC and transfer it to the TV set using a USB flash drive. The units are available in four sizes: 32, 42, 47 and 55 inches.

GRAB BAR SYSTEM
A new grab bar system for hotel showers from Moen Commercial includes a chrome hand shower and a stainless steel ADA-compliant 24- or 36-inch grab bar. Shower hoses are available in metal or plastic from 59 to 80 inches long.

BED BUG DETECTOR
FMC Corp. says its Verifi bed bug detector provides continuous detection of bed bugs for up to 90 days. The self-adhering unit fits almost anywhere, including behind and underneath furniture, and can be installed within minutes with no disruption of room use. The unit detects current infestations and can confirm treatments were successful.

SUSTAINABLE KEYCARDS
Sustainable Cards wood products include hotel key cards, signage, in-room cards, door hangers and other items. Made from sustainable Nordic birch wood, the cards meet ISO standards, work just like plastic cards and are durable, reliable and reusable, says the manufacturer.
