Apollo Hospitality Group signed the first “innplement” contract, with Barbara Howard-Jones, managing partner of the Beach Terrace Inn in Carlsbad, CA. The budgeted $5-million project was scheduled to begin in September and was to include a combination of design elements from both the Serenity and Journey designs within the “innplement's” 15 model rooms.
LodgeNet Interactive Corporation realigned its organization into three divisions: hospitality, healthcare and hotel networks. Scott E. Young was named president of the hospitality division and will also remain in his current post, as chief marketing officer. Steven R. Pofahl was promoted to general manager of hospitality operations and reports to Young.
