Dave Rutherford created RDI Sales and Marketing, which specializes in companies offering green products to the hospitality industry. Rutherford, most recently with Sunbeam, has 10 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience and 15 years in foodservice sales. RDI represents several lines that offer solutions to hotels to become more environmentally friendly.
Atlanta-based public relations firm Softscribe Inc. renewed five hospitality clients: Aptech Computer Systems, JDA Software, Northwind-Maestro PMS, Flyte Systems and The Rainmaker Group.
Robb & Stucky named Dan Lubner president of its newly formed Resorts Division. SoftBrands named Jo-Ann Masters senior vice president and general manager of its hospitality business, effective Oct. 1. Masters, who's been with SoftBrands since 2000 in various leadership roles, takes over for Steve VanTassel.

Robert Small was named the new manager of global product service for Maytag and Whirlpool Commercial Laundry. Small, who's been with Whirlpool since 1990, will focus on product service and parts management.
