Don Wise joined Johnson Capital as managing partner of the firm's new Global Hospitality Group. The firm provides investment advisory, investment banking, brokerage services and financing placement to the hospitality industry.

Additions to Milliken & Company's Napery Fabrics Business Hospitality Service Team are David Eskew and Andy Miller. Eskew manages the eastern region of the U.S. and Canada, while Miller covers the central and western regions.

Rob Woods is the new president of Leggett & Platt's Consumer Products Group. He is a 23-year veteran of the firm.

HVScompass Interior Design moved its Boston-area office to Burlington, MA. The firm now shares offices with sister company HVS International. Brooke Pearsall is the firm's managing director of design.

Sealy Contract named Ed Cowx as its north region sales manager. Cowx, who had been vice president of sales in Canada, for the firm, now covers part of the northern U.S. as well as Canada.

Maytag and Whirlpool Commercial Laundry recently honored Virginia-based Caldwell & Gregory with its On-Premises Laundry Award. The presentation, which was made during Maytag and Whirlpool's annual sales meeting in Las Vegas, recognizes the company's “effective and efficient service to the hotel, university, salon and veterinarian markets.”

Christina Palilla is the new director of business development for Memphis-based ff&e provider Genesis Hospitality Solutions. Most recently, she was project supply manager for Hilton Hotels in its Memphis office.

Safemark Systems recorded record sales in the first quarter of the year. Developments during the period included landing an order for 1,639 guestroom safes at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago and the installation of safes at the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.

The Mumford Company recently promoted Burton Brooks to sales associate in the company's Atlanta office. Before joining Mumford last year as a sales analyst, Brooks had been a franchise licensing specialist for InterContinental Hotels Group. The company also hired David Holcombe as sales analyst.

Chief Manufacturing, marketers of mounts, lifts and accessories for flat-panel displays and projectors, joined the Cornerstone Partnership program of the American Institute of Architects. Through the program, the company says it will be able to better educate and serve the mounting needs of architects, consultants and designers.

HP Products Corp. honored Kevin Walsh of Rubbermaid Commercial Products as its 2006 Supplier Representative of the Year. HP is a Virginia-based distributor of janitorial, packaging, safety, lamping and paper products.

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels promoted Arthur Buser and John Strauss and added Romy Bhojwani to the Los Angeles office. Buser was promoted to president, Lodging Capital Markets-Americas. Strauss was promoted to executive vice president and will oversee the LA office. Bhojwani was named senior vice president for the firm's investment sales team.

American Hotel Register Company appointed Greg Kadens vice president and chief operating officer of its FF&E division, American Hotel Furnishings Company. He previously spent 15 years with Quill Corporation in various executive roles.
