Christina Palilla is the new director of business development for Memphis-based ff&e provider Genesis Hospitality Solutions. Most recently, she was project supply manager for Hilton Hotels in its Memphis office.
Safemark Systems recorded record sales in the first quarter of the year. Developments during the period included landing an order for 1,639 guestroom safes at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago and the installation of safes at the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.
The Mumford Company recently promoted Burton Brooks to sales associate in the company's Atlanta office. Before joining Mumford last year as a sales analyst, Brooks had been a franchise licensing specialist for InterContinental Hotels Group. The company also hired David Holcombe as sales analyst.
Chief Manufacturing, marketers of mounts, lifts and accessories for flat-panel displays and projectors, joined the Cornerstone Partnership program of the American Institute of Architects. Through the program, the company says it will be able to better educate and serve the mounting needs of architects, consultants and designers.

American Hotel Register Company appointed Greg Kadens vice president and chief operating officer of its FF&E division, American Hotel Furnishings Company. He previously spent 15 years with Quill Corporation in various executive roles.
