BEVERLY HILTON LODGENET BETA SITE
A high-definition LodgeNet Entertainment television system functions as an interactive concierge and a wide-ranging entertainment platform at the Beverly Hilton. All 570 rooms in the Beverly Hills, CA property, including the 350 in the Wilshire Tower, feature 42-inch flat-panel plasma TVs supported by LodgeNet's sigNETure HDTV digital HD guest entertainment platform. The hotel also features 13-inch flat-panel TVs in each Tower bathroom.
The Hilton teamed with LodgeNet's EASY HD team throughout the project, thereby verifying compatibility of flat-panel displays, digital hardware and cabling specifications during the renovation of the property.
The Beverly Hilton also plans to use LodgeNet's sigNETure platform to drive in-room marketing initiatives, making the TV an “in-room concierge,” says Hotel Manager Michael Robertson. Hilton and LodgeNet are working to enable guests to make spa appointments, review menus and book dining through the TV. The enabling device will be a control from LodgeNet that enables guests to control their TVs, Bose stereo systems and interactive LodgeNet TV system with a single, backlit remote.
This Beverly Hilton living room features a LodgeNet-supported HD TV.
