Mobile guestroom key solutions company OpenWays hired Andrew Sanders as vice president of business development. He’s held executive and sales positions with a number of hospitality software firms, including MICROS Systems, Red Sky IT and Multi-Systems, Inc.

Robert Gleason joined hotel hairdryer marketer Andis Co. as vice president of human resources. Most recently, he held the same position with Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin.

Andy Wimsatt joined CB Richard Ellis Hotels as a senior vice president in the firm’s Washington, DC office. Most recently, he was managing director of Molasses Reef, a mixed-use resort in the Turks and Caicos.

Seating manufacturer MTS hired Ken Auger as general manager of MTS Burgess, a joint venture between MTS and Burgess Furniture of the United Kingdom. He replaced Chuck Stahl, who retired in December.

New president & CEO of Amadeus is Luis Maroto, replacing David Jones in a year-long transition. Maroto, an 11-year veteran of the travel technology and transaction processing firm, had been deputy CEO.

K.C. Patel joined HFF as a director in its New York office, focusing on institutional-grade hotel and resort transactions in North America. He had been vice president of joint venture hospitality acquisitions for J.P. Morgan’s alternative property fund.

New vice president of regional sales for Superior Uniform Group is Benjamin Alpert. He had a regional director of sales in the Northeast for the firm.

Lisa Hagen is the new senior vice president/chief marketing officer for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas. She has more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing at a variety of upscale and luxury hotels and resorts.

Scott Griemsmann is the new managing director of Paramount Lodging Advisors’ San Francisco office.

Telkonet, Inc. named Gerrit Reinders executive vice president for sales and marketing. A 20-year industry veteran, Reinders has worked for Energy Focus, Johnson Controls and Invensys.

Alan Keller joined Da-Lite Screen Company as sales consultant for its projection screens. His territory includes Wisconsin, northern Illinois and northern Indiana.

H. Brandt Niehaus of Louisville-based Huff, Niehaus & Associates is a new member of the International Real Estate Federation.

Brown Hotel Group formed an alliance with Vantage Hospitality to create Brown Nester Hospitality Services, Inc. Comprehensive start-to-finish services include brokerage, management, marketing and revenue-generating programs.

As a new director, Jeff Talbot brings his experience in finance, brokerage, acquisition and investment to Miami-based Aztec Group.

hotel SystemsPro promoted Natalie Roberts to director of hotel performance and customer satisfaction.

Textile industry veterans Brian Coughlin, David Balk and Anita DuCoffre started Warp & Phil, a new decorative fabrics company. Their textiles are wider than usual for seamless construction of bedding and drapery.

Gary Hernandez, Sr. is new chief business officer for Healthier Choice, a Georgia-based manufacturer of premium frothed polyurethane carpet cushion, acoustical underlayment and stainable, flexible transition moldings.

Thomas Daly, co-founder and managing member of The Hospitality Security Consulting Group, received the Thomas G. Davis Loss Prevention Lifetime Achievement Award from HospitalityLawyer.com. Daly worked 24 years at Hilton Hotels Corp., where he was the first director of life safety.

The management team for Mirabeau Inn & Spa, in the Finger Lakes region of New York, launched a hospitality consulting company: Mirabeau Hospitality Services.

Paul De Santis, LEED AP, is now principal of Chicago-based architecture firm Goettsch Partners. De Santis’ recent work includes the 37-story, two-million-square-foot Grand Hyatt Chengdu in China.

Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, CA, selected Peter Burwash International to direct its tennis program.

American Express Global Business Travel promoted 22-year American Express veteran Michael Qualantone to senior vice president and general manager.

WATG added Muriel Muirden as vice president of strategy. Based in London, Muirden offers clients pre-development strategic advice and support.

XETA Technologies launched a new hospitality business unit, XETA Hospitality Solutions. Managing Director Mark Holzberg, formerly CEO of Lorica Solutions, leads the group.

Stephen Pearlman joined Molinaro Koger as managing director, Capital Markets Group. Pearlman is based in the firm’s New York office.
