Epitome property management system and Karyon Distribution Service software from SoftBrands have been selected by GrandStay Residential Suites for GrandStay's newest hotel in Apple Valley, MN. Epitome aims to allow GrandStay to consolidate and share guest information across multiple properties while Karyon will consolidate rate management and, through its web-booking engine, manage GDS and IDS channels.

SoftBrands also recently announced the signing of an agreement with Navy Lodge Program to operate Epitome, Core and Karyon enterprise solutions worldwide across the 43 worldwide Navy Lodges.

In other SoftBrands action, the Minneapolis company selected AnyRate software for use by Karyon to provide independent hoteliers, groups and management companies with competitive rate intel ligence. Finally, SoftBrands extended its reseller agreement with Libra Hospitality to represent Karyon products in Russia and Eastern Europe. Libra supports more than 150 hotels.
