Students at the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management at New York University will be able to learn the latest in property management thanks to a gift from manufacturing- and hospitality-industry solutions provider SoftBrands.

Under the long-term deal, SoftBrands' Epitome property management system, Core central reservation solution and Mosaik business intelligence solution will be accessible to undergraduate students learning in classrooms wired to the Internet.

The data management software training offered by SoftBrands will augment the entrepreneurial curricula and technology currently being taught to these students. In addition, SoftBrands employees will join NYU faculty as guest teachers and provide internships within the SoftBrands company.
